Lloft O.T. was originally constructed as a garage and workshop. It was built around 1928 by the manager of a local quarry who lived in one of the nearby houses. The ground floor housed the quarry truck while upstairs was used as a workshop by a joiner named O.T. Williams. So, the upstairs or 'lloft' was known by the family as 'lloft OT'.
Work on converting the building into a holiday cottage began in December 2007 and in May 2008 Lloft O.T. welcomed it's first visitors as a holiday cottage.
