Snowdonia Cottage History

Lloft O.T. was originally used as a garage and workshop. It was built from local stone by the manager of the Siabod quarry, who lived in one of the nearby houses, in 1928. The ground floor housed the quarry truck while upstairs was used as a workshop by a joiner named O.T. Williams. One of the quarry managers children still lives nearby and recalls how the family knew the building as 'lloft OT', where he has happy memories of time spent sitting on the workbench as a young child, learning to count and sing.

Work on converting the building into a holiday cottage began in December 2007 and in May 2008 Lloft O.T. welcomed it's first visitors as a holiday cottage.
